By enrolling in Return to Craft (“RTC”), accessing course materials, or applying for private coaching, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Program Scope

RTC is not a beginner program. Return to Craft is a professional acting training program created and taught by Charlie Sandlan. The program provides artistic education, technique, and process-based training for trained actors.

2. Eligibility

RTC is intended for:

  • Actors who have received prior formal acting training
  • Individuals seeking professional-level artistic development

RTC is not designed for:

  • Beginners without training
  • Hobbyists
  • Individuals unwilling to engage in disciplined, honest actor’s work

RTC reserves the right to refuse enrollment or discontinue access if these standards are not met.

3. Access & Duration

  • All courses includeone (1) year of access from the date of purchase.
  • Access is provided digitally through the RTC platform.
  • Participants are responsible for maintaining reliable internet access and compatible devices.

Renewal

  • Full program access may be renewed annually at the stated renewal rate.
  • Renewal is optional and not automatic.
  • If access lapses, reactivation may require repurchase at current pricing.

4. Payments & Refunds

Due to the digital nature of the program and immediate access to materials:

All purchases are final.

No refunds, exchanges, or transfers are offered.

Please review program descriptions carefully before enrolling.

5. Course Progression

  • Course 1: The Foundation of Truthful Actingis the required entry point.
  • Courses 2–4 are available only after completion of Course 1, or with the full bundle.
  • Completion is determined by enrollment and access, not certification or assessment.

6. Professional Disclaimer

Return to Craft provides artistic and professional acting courses only.                            
Enrollment does not guarantee:

  • Auditions
  • Employment
  • Representation
  • Career advancement
  • Financial or professional outcomes

Results depend on the individual actor’s preparation, discipline, circumstances, and professional environment.

7. Not Therapy or Mental Health Services

Return to Craft is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment.

While emotional work may be explored as part of acting technique, RTC does not provide psychological, medical, or therapeutic services. Participants are responsible for their own mental and emotional well-being. Participants agree to seek appropriate professional support outside of RTC if needed.

8. Private Coaching Track

  • Private coaching isoptional, selective, and application-based.
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
  • Coaching is offered at the sole discretion of Charlie Sandlan.
  • Scheduling, format (in-person or Zoom), and availability may change.

RTC reserves the right to decline or discontinue coaching if it is not deemed a productive or appropriate fit.

9. Intellectual Property

All RTC materials — including videos, written content, exercises, scripts, and recordings — are the intellectual property of Charlie Sandlan and Return to Craft.

Participants may not:

  • Share, reproduce, distribute, or sell materials
  • Record sessions without permission
  • Use content for teaching, coaching, or commercial purposes

Access is granted for personal, non-transferable educational use only.

Any excerpts referenced in video instruction are used solely for purposes of commentary, critique, and education.

10. Conduct & Expectations

By enrolling, participants agree to:

  • Engage with discipline and professionalism
  • Respect the integrity of the work and the training environment
  • Accept direct, honest instruction without expectation of validation or accommodation

RTC reserves the right to revoke access without refund for conduct that undermines the program’s standards or integrity.

11. Limitation of Liability

Return to Craft and Charlie Sandlan are not liable for:

  • Personal, professional, or financial decisions made by participants
  • Technical issues outside the RTC platform’s control
  • Loss of opportunities, income, or career outcomes

Participation is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own discretion and risk.

12. Modifications

RTC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
